Learn from an expert! Fish is a true craftsman in the field of building air cooled volkswagen motors. From vintage 36hp, stock 1600cc to top-end drag motors he’s done it all! Fish builds on average 40-50 motors per year, specializing in application specific builds. His motors will get you across the U.S. or down the track.
Fish will be offering a one day workshop rebuilding a 1600cc dualport engine, covering:
- Inspection of parts
- Crack checking
- Measuring components
- Measuring combustion chamber & Deck height
- Machining of
- Engine case
- Cylinder heads
- Honing cylinders & ringing pistons
- Setting up
- Compression ratios
- Proper end play
- Proper rocker arm geometry
If you want to learn how to build VW engines as a profession or just for fun; Fish will be sharing years of experience that will help your build be more successful. The class will include unmatched knowledge, lunch and a certificate of completion.
Future performance building class will be offered – attendants must have certificate from this class in order to attend.
All of this knowledge comes at the low price of $200.00. Fifty percent due at sign-up the remainder due the morning of class, if you pay entirely up front you will receive a free Dougs Buggs N Bunnys t-shirt.
