When a customer came in needing a major engine repair (re-ring pistons & new heads installed) on his Ghia, but needed the repairs to be completed in just 3 days! The crew at Doug’s stayed late & got the job done just in time to be loaded onto the truck to be shipped to #thegreatrace starting line. Mark Shaw sent us this photo & said the Ghia completed 3400 miles in 2 weeks without any issues, and was awarded 3 ACE award stickers for perfect scores (i.e. times) on a legs during the race of which there are usually four to seven legs in each day, for a total of 52. We are grateful to have been a part of this cool story.
